We’ll be bringing some electric cars to the Honor Flight Car Show hosted by the Classic Reflections Car Club again this year. This time it will be at the Holy Name of Jesus Church 3050 Hwy A1A, Indialantic, FL on Saturday May 28, 2016 from 10 am to 2 pm. Since there will be so many cars we outgrew the spot we were at last year! We’ve added over a dozen new members since last year’s show so there’s going to be even more makes/models of our electric cars to check out. We like the comparison between the very old vintage model show cars and our future tech electric cars to grab people’s attention. We’ll be there to support the Honor Flight charity as well as answer any and all questions the visitors have about driving electric. A big idea we’d like to show people are the options that are coming out soon like the Chevy Bolt that gets over 200 miles on a single charge that should work for most people’s daily commutes plus extra unplanned errands. But there’s a lot of people that still don’t know about plug in hybrids (PHEV) that let you plug up and charge the battery, drive most or all of your daily drive on 100% electricity then it switches automatically to a gasoline generator to keep the batteries charged so you can just keep driving without a worry. These PHEVs are perfect those that still have that worry even though there are plenty in our group with 100% electric cars that drive plenty for their daily commute. So drop on by, help out a great charity, and check out the cool show cars and ask us all about our personal electric cars that we drive every day.
